The phone that today we are going to talk about is the Lenovo K8 Plus. The K8 Plus is the upcoming smartphone by Lenovo which runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) Operating System, this smartphone sports a huge 5.2 inches IPS LCD display with a 1080 x 1920 screen resolution, perfect for viewing your movies without compromising with the quality of it, with Gorilla Glass 3 making the phone more reliable and durable. It also supports dual SIM with dual standby (dual nano SIM) and also has a dedicated SD card slot unlike most of the smartphone now a day, making it much more practical.

Now let’s talk about its camera, this phone has a decent dual rear camera (13 MP + 5 MP) with a dual tone flash, giving your pictures that extra punch that they need and you can also record full High Definition videos with phone @ 30fps. And the front facing camera is of 8 MP, which also has a pretty decent picture quality. Other camera features that this phone offers include face detection, geo tagging, touch focus, HDR, and panorama.

It has MediaTek MT6757, octa core 2.5 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, and a Helio P25 chipset and Mali-T880 MP2 GPU to take care of your gaming needs, and tomake sure that you never a bad gaming or movie viewing experience on this device. And in terms of memory this phone offers whooping 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 Gb using microSD card (which by the way it dedicated, which is pretty awesome) and comes in a 3GB & 4 GB RAM versions.

Some other features include A-GPS, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.2, USB On-The-Go, a rear mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro sensor, proximity sensor, and a compass along with all the other normal components such as document viewer, photo & video editor and much more. And to back all of this up a huge 4000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. And the placement of the fingerprint sensor makes it a little bit more practical to use since, our fingers are always placed on the back of our smartphone and integrating a sensor over there makes much more sense than placing it on the front, underneath the display. That’s something that I really appreciated about its design. This is a much more practical and sensible approach.

Lenovo K8 Plus is expected to release this September and it will be available in two colors; fine gold and venom black, and the pricing is around 200 EUR.
